My point is, that these messages, while of interest to sociologists and shrinks, fill up my email box, and often distract me from my fetish of admiring T137 Dodges.

They are so ubiquitous that there are even several websites (Snopes being my fave) that have been set up just to try to get the masses to stop the madness. These stories get legs and there's no respite.

All I ask, respectfully, is please just check with Snopes before pulling the trigger.
