I put this question forth regarding my 1958
W300M. The easiest suggestion was the first one tried and it worked: Shove the slutch to the floorboard with a 2/4 cut to the right length and leave it for a few days and see what happens. Mine broke loose. To save the front of the seat, I put a piece of plywood for the 2/4 to push against. If you're a perfectionist, you could screw a block into the plywood for the 2/4 to lock into. I'm going to block the clutch down when I put the Dodge's down for winter. The solution was cheap, clean and effective. If it doesn't work, then move on to Plan B,C, etc.
