My '53 B3 flat fender is sporting about 1000 miles on the total engine rebuild, but now it seems full power is lacking. It accelerates weakly, then seems like it is not hitting on all 6 cylinders when I get it up to speed, which is about 45 mph. I have checked the points and they are good, and the timing is right, and I put in a new condenser in the distributor. Could it be a fuel flow issue? I have an electric fuel pump, so I guess I could try a flow rate check next, but what is a good fuel flow rate?
Any ideas are appreciated.
