Death wobbles are caused by something being loose in the front end. They can be set off by a tire that is not balanced or a bump in the road. The last death wobble I had was caused by the bolts in the steering arm backing off a little. I thought the whole front of the truck was coming apart.
It seems that every ff PW that I have driven has a slight shimmy at about 35 to 37 MPH even with everything balanced. It just seems to be a feature of the truck. Check everything in the front end including the springs and their pins. When I replaced the pins on my ff PW it really stopped a lot of the vibrations and poor steering that I was seeing.
