Thanks for all the replys. Short term (for the rally) I will try removing a shim and seeing if that tightens things up a bit. This winter will see a lot of things re-built properly. I have been doing this long enough to know not to start gathering parts 4 days before an event. No matter ho much you get you always find some widget you didnt think you needed and are dead in the water until it is obtained.
The tie rod end will be replaced before the rally!
