What seems to be forgotten so often is what the responsibility of the federal government was supposed to be. the federal government is supposed to protect us and perform a diplomatic role eith the rest of the world. they have overstepped there limits thousands of times. we have to understand the difference between rights and privelages. The constitution is , according to our founding fathers, God givn rights meaning they cannot be revoked. A privelage on the other hand can be revoked by the giver. A prime example is a ccw permit, drivers license etc. We have lost our rights when they become privelidges and they can be revoked by the giver (state or federal gov)
