I have never seen what I would consider a cheap one. I have wanted one for years to display under my windmill. These were commonly used in this part of the country to provide belt power to drive the pump jack when there were not enough breezes to turn the windmill head. The windmill would normally connect directly to the well pump with the manual pump handle disconnected. By adding a pump jack, water could be pumped with a hit-and-miss engine from the same well.
I would like one for static display. Even one with missing parts and a cracked casting would work. I rarely see these, even in that condition, for under $100.00.
