About a year ago, I was using a flathead screwdriver to fish the ground wire onto an outlet - took off my safety glasses so I could see better and had the ground wire slip. Screwdriver slapped my eyeball. I could see it coming, then saw my vision distorted as it hit (in slow motion it seemed). Burst some blood vessels on the eyeball, but no permanent damage done.
Looked ugly, and grossed out my kids - but learned to get a flashlight if I was having trouble seeing versus taking the safety glasses off!
