I believe I used 1.250"x.125 angle. But that was in 2001 and I did not write it down. They are now burried by the sides and Line-X Bed Liner.

Before you bolt aluminum to steel in a permanent position, consider galvanic reaction between two disimalar metals. I 'dont' have that answer. Maybe some coating between them, or maybe its not a problem at all. Just something that comes to my mind. I would hate to see heavy corrosion between the two ???? Maybe we have a metalurgical engineer on board who can answer.
