I didn't replace any doors, but I had a 3rd that was too far gone, that I cut up for repair patches. Anyhow, I opened up the inside of one door to access the 'hinge' for repair. Since I needed patches in both lower front corners anyhow, making one patch bigger than the rust hole gave me some more access.

I figure my time at $10/hr. If a replacement door costs $150, then I can spend 15 hours fixing my old one...
