Since as you say, there is only the body . I say find a PW frame and go with your idea of making a unique vehicle. You could name it Quasimoto if so inclined. I see two likely scenarios and one very unlikely one.
A. You purchase the body and mount it to a PW frame. B. Someone else buys it and mounts it on a Chevy or some other frame and makes a street rod out of it. And C the most unlikely, someone buys it and rounds up all the other parts and returns it to stock condition in under a decade or two. I'm all for restoring old vehicles, but you have to decide based on your own skills and the availability of parts if it's a viable candidate for restoration.
