I think that Master Cylinder number is for the BRAKE Master, not the Clutch. The Brake and Clutch Master look identical, but are not the same internally.
They are both Raybestos numbers and I had the same issue with this error.
I stress, this is not Vaughan's fault, both Kragen and Pep Boys have listed the Clutch Master as the same as the Brake Master, in error, for years. JimmieD has/had the correct number for the clutch master.
