On my W-100, the fuel filler comes into the side of the tank, about halfway up the side of the tank. the filler pipe connects to the tank with a rubber 90 degree elbow. When there is more than 1/2 a tank of fuel, the elbow and part of the filler neck have fuel in them, effectively becoming part of the tank. It seems prudent to replace the hardened rubber elbow. My thought was to use a piece of radiator hose with a 90 and cut it to fit. My parts man said the radiator hose will get squashy in the gas after a bit. What are people using for that elbow, if not radiator hose?
Thanks,
Tim
