6 volt radios

Eric's previous message about reproing the old school antenna's got me thinking. My 47 has the remnants of an antenna but no indication of a radio previously installed in or under the dash. How many of us out here has a 1940's truck with a working AM radio? What kinds of period correct AM 6 volt Positive ground radios were available? Where might one find a radio of this era to add to their truck?
