Here is a very interesting story of flying the worlds only flyable B29, owned by the Commemorative Air Force.
AVweb's John Deakin was recently invited to join a small group of CAF pilots who regularly fly the world's only remaining flyable B-29
Just to Taxi the B29 is a Challenge. You will have to register at the Avweb site to gain access to the story, but its well worth it. There are great pictures with the story.
