Well, after finally getting an nos leece neville unit I discovered that I wired truck wrong from the beginning. which now looking back I went thru fuel pumps, flashers, headlamp switches etc due to 19 volts. After research with the local leece- neville dealer it was dicovered that the regulator is wired
ign-ignition
b-direct to the battery
g- to the plus side of the alt (I had it grounded)
f- to the field
even the leece neville tech cant explain the g for alternator except g for generator.
now I get 14 or so volts
