Safes are bad for mold/stagnet air as the you should open them up occasionally. Go to your local sports store and get a mini dehumidifier for a gun safe. The one I have is a Remington Model 365. Probably Chinese made with their name on it but it works. Has beads in it that collect the moisture and they change colors when they are saturated. Now here's the good part, when that happens you take it out and plug it into a standard recept. It warms up and dries it out(usually 6 - 12 hours) and put it back in. Mine normally is good for a month in a rather large gun safe. Cost less than $20.00 bucks. I'll send you a pic, Kevin
