If you need to rivet it on, use regular pop rivets. Don't even try to use factory rivets. This is only allowed at the factory. This is to keep stolen vehicles from being easily altered. A few years ago, a vendor at a Corvette swap meet had some factory rivets and was selling them. He got busted big time.
