Like Winget, I too have a Dodge command car (WC-58 3/4 ton Radio Command Car) and a few very early civilian jeeps. I can tell them apart but I can't tell them to stay apart. This past winter I made the mistake of storing my command car next to a very early olive drab civilian jeep. Though not yet full restored, the command car is functional enough to get in trouble. Well, those long, cold winter nights in a dark garage apparently were too much for the command car. It could not resist the temptation of siding up to the little olive drab jeep and whispering sweet parts lists into her ear. Once turned on, that little jeep gets awfully hot blooded and purrs away like a kitten. But she has an awfully loose accelerator pedal. I should have known better. Anyway, the results of this cross-make union appeared this Spring in my driveway. I have asked Joe to post a photograph of this newest addition to my fleet below this message. Can anyone identify this baby?
