I drove both and ended up buying a 1999 F350 diesel 4x4 and get excellent mileage. We all tend on this page to favor Dodges, (I have two) but for my money in recent years the Fords have held their value better and I believe perform better. Go look at two 3 to 5 year old Fords and Dodges and compare how they hold up. Still, when you are talking about the 1950s, the Dodge PW has no competitiors.
