D.G., if it's an ambulance, it's probably a WC-54, unless it's a half ton which then makes it either a WC-9, 18, or 27. (WWII Amulance Rule of 9s ie 9 x 1=9, 9 x 2 =18, 9 x 3=27, 9 x 6=54, this rule only works for these numbers; the next ambulance was not the 63, which was a 1 1/2 ton 6 x 6, but the knockdown ambulance, WC-64. Maybe Gordon knows why there is no WC-36 or 45) The obvious difference between 1/2 and 3/4 ton is the sloping hood on the 1/2 tons, though you probably know all this and I'm sorry if I bored you. If you actually had a WC-53 Carryall, you could ask about $2000 more for it. Good Luck,
