Slant-6 on M-37

I have located a slant-6 in decent shape and would like to drop this in my M-37, as my 230 was butchered by the previous owners attempt at rebuilding it. Will the slant-6 bolt up to my '52 M-37's transmission? Has anyone done this conversion before? Any tips?
