It took me a while to remember what a WC-64 was. According to the Don Bunn's book, Dodge Trucks, "Dodge built 26,002 WC-54s before they were replaced by the WC-64 (Knockdown) ambulance in 1944, of which only 3,500 were built."
Now, relative to the production numbers of the Dodge Power Wagons, its not so rare at all. In fact, for my 1967 WM 300, there were only another 940 or so made that same year. Some of production numbers for the Town Wagons were in the 200-300 range.
Ambulances do not command the prices nor have the value that comes from the prestige of owning a command car or weapons carrier. It may be a steal on Ebay, where many people who don't have a lot of time, but have plenty of money, will probably buy it, but on this forum, wth all due respects, its pricey. In all fairness, its worth what someone is willing to pay. I hope you get your price, but more importantly, I hope the person who buys it, will appreciate its true value, be able to maintain it, and not just drive it a few times, then park it because he lost interest in his latest toy.
Just my opinion,
