Master cylinders are specifically designed to be a part of a total braking system. A master cylinder designed for a disk brake system will almost certainly be disasterous on a drum brake system. Likewise a drum brake master cylinder with built in residual pressure valve will probably cause lock up problems in a disk brake system.Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but master cylinder replacement takes very careful research, and complete understanding of what exactly you are putting together.
