Thought i fixed the flatbed as it broke down for good about 3 miles from home saturday night from Lee. Found the coil was bad (cracked at front (was a new pretronix). replaced it went 50 miles went bad as well as my flasher (actually it shorted direct as blew fuses) now I was confused so checked with my dad (farmer for 60 years) said had to be voltage regulator. checked with my meter (actually his) was putting out 19 volts. changed up regulator now putting out 13 volts. must be the coil is first thing to go? has anyone else have same problem. hopefully this cured it.
