Hint: Set points with a dial caliper!

There I was sitting at my vise, having just put a fresh set of points into my distributor. Now where the set of feelers go, since last time I set anything? What else can I use... hmm, the dial calipers are right there... so, set the calipers for the total width of both sides of the points while closed, and rotate the distributor shaft... calipers read .020 more than when closed- perfect!
