I agree with all that torque from your repower. With the flat head less likely to break axles. I will pull out the winch if I think the task in front of me is too har on the truck also. I ahve broken right rear axle on an offset PW rear end once but never any fronts. When I did break the superwinch hubs it was in very mild situations that would not have broken my axle. so now I will only use the superwinch hubs on the street when it snows. Another advantage when trail driving with drive flanges is clearance.
