clutch fan for 366,427 truck eng. need help

im having a very hard time finding a clutch fan for my dump truck.i cant find a new one (no longer available). are they supposed to lock up when hot. or just spin harder.mine doesent lock up when i put heat to it.i would buy a new one if i could find one. or even a good used one. chevy c70, 427 eng
