Chris, since you know Powe Wagons, your in good shape to judge the M37. Look at it as you would a PW. Rust appears in the same areas. Mechanically they are also equal in so many ways. I would conisder main issues being any frame rot or damage and condition of the engine. You will have to decide if you can handle any body work, including replacement of steel if need be. One bonus on this truck is the Arctic Cap. They are hard to find, and very desired in cold weather areas. From what I can see in the pictures, its probably in the $3-4K range. Try to talk them down if you can.
