The three hardest days work in my life, all seemed to be in 100 degree heat:
One day was stacking 11 tons of hay into horse stalls. Carrying each bale 30-50 feet. That was while I worked for Petco when Walt only had one store. Walt's wife had horses.
One day was hot mopping an in-laws roof- running the tar kettle, and hoisting the buckets of melted tar up by rope and pulley.
One day was breaking down 5 split rims, swapping tires around and reassembling them, under the tree in the front yard. I had a split rim hammer, real tire irons*, and a bicycle pump. It's young man's work. Emphasis on WORK. The next time I used a conventional Coats 20/20 tire machine to do most of the hard work. And an air compressor.
*tire irons are NOT lug wrenches, but pry bars specifically made for prying tires on/off of rims by hand. I took them with me to Baja, plus tubes and 'boots'. Sometimes you have to do things the hard way.
