OK, I'll weigh in here also. Looks like nice clean sheet metal and a good clean engine compartment. However, that green shag carpet will hold alot of moisture and may be hiding a multitude of sins. At least that was what the carpet in the last fire truck I had did. Look under the door and you will see the fire body includes plate that may be welded to the frame. The last fire truck I had also had the rear cross-member removed to fit the tank body. Speaking of frames, snow plows can be pretty rough on them, although that plow doesn't seem to big for the truck.
Bottom line, probably a good low-mileage truck that is used, but not used up. Would take alot of work to restore, and even more to remove everything and put on a pick up bed. Still a great truck for those of us here in the rust belt.
