He is talking about flat towing, not trailer towing, it's an entirely different proposition. A flat towed vehicle normally does not have active brakes, a flat towed vehicle does not have a center of "balance" for turning, the tires are out at the corners, a flat towed vehicle will ALWAYS push when turning or braking and the worst case scenario is turning while braking. Unless you outweigh it 2 to 1 it will push you right off the road.
I have many 1,000's of miles experience flat towing and it is never easy unless you have a very substaintial tow vehicle.
