Netrulaize Alkaline Battery Leak

One of the AAA Alkaline Batteries in a old camera leaked. I caught it before its real bad, but the is some of the Green Corrosion on one battery contact. What is used to neutralize the stuff that leaked out ? I tried some baking soda but it has no effect.
