'57 Plymouth in retrospect

IMHO, burying it for 50 years in a watery grave was probably the best thing to happen to that car. Consider this - if it had been sold to an individual when new, what are the chances that it would be around today in ANY condition. It would have probably been scrapped out 30 or 40 years ago. I doubt that someone would have bought a Plymouth in 1957 and held onto it in the interest of pure speculation. They were cheap transportation for the time.

Because of its history, it is now worth whatever a museum is willing to pay for it. Probably considerably more that the majority of the '57 Belvederes that survived. It is now infamous, at least for the moment anyway.

I think I will go bury a new 2008 Power Wagon in the gback yard. With any luck I will be around in 50 years to reap the rewards! ;^)
