Paul,
Probably the reason it was phased out of the line up. Is this one you got from Dovebid or???
I've learned over the years to start with the easy stuff first, after doing it the other way and finding I was thinking too hard.
My driver this week started loosing oil pressure and developing a leak(again). I had pulled the motor 3 years ago and replaced all the seals as the motor had 180000 miles on it. It finally droped to zero and I pulled it in the shop and noticed a little oil around the sender. Replaced it and it shows 50PSI again, YES!!!
On a side note when I pulled the motor and took the oil pan off(first time it had been off) I was amazed that ONE swipe with a paper towel cleaned the bottom of the oil pan out. Basically NO sludge. I change oil every 5000 but never seen one that clean. Makes me wonder whether people who have told me they change their oil really do as when working on their cars you have to use a putty knife to clean them out.
Good catch Paul!
