the 350 is the section width of tire in mm (when mounted on the correct width rim)
the 70 or 50 the the section height percent
of the width
so 350mm is about 13.8 in
figure 70 or 50 or whatever to get the section height
now for sure a 350/50 will require a wider wheel than a 350/70
not rocket science only problem is one should
have a good working knowledge of the metric system
