Drop the pan and clean it out. When I dropped the pan on my 47 I had about 1 inch of thick gray like mud in the bottom. Got it all cleaned out and cleaned the crankshaft as best as I could. Then you should be able to run detergent oil and plan to change the oil a few times during short intervals. Key to it is to clena it slow. Not dump something in that will clean it fast. You will get a piece of somthing then float where you dont want and spin a bearing.
