Car/Truck Engine Difference

I've got two engines for my WC-12. One is numbered P18-28410, apparently a 218cid from a 1949 Plymouth car. The other is numbered T146-27908, a 230cid from a Dodge 1 ton truck. Both will need some work before installation.

How much difference is there between a truck and a car engine. Did they beef up the truck engine parts?
