My Dad and I are having lots of fun restoring our Dodge Power Wagons (W-Series). I got into these trucks about 2-3 years ago helping my Dad clean up his 1964 W200 a few months before the 2005 California Power Wagon Rally in Hollister. The week before we went up to the rally, we found a 1962 W100 in the local Photo-Ad and when we got back home, we went and picked it up. This was going to be my truck to drive once I got my license. We spent almost a year on the restoration. It was so much fun especially once it started coming back together. We took a trip up into Idaho and Montana that summer and we had the best time looking through wrecking yards and we also found two more Power Wagons('64 W300 & '65 W100) that we later brought home. My Dad and I are currently restoring the '64 W300. We took it up to the California PW Rally last year along with the '62 W100. It is the bright red W100 in the background. Now that I have my license, everyone I know can see me coming in my bright red Dodge Power Wagon. Hope you guys have a fun time restoring one of your FFPW's. Can't wait to bring the trucks up to Hollister in October!
