I remember we once had a 69 Olds '98 with vacuum-powered heater & AC controls. What a mess! Sorry, I don't know of a source for a 12 V vacuum pump. I've got to believe somebody makes them, though. Any chance of using a fuel pump with a built-in vacuum booster? Probably not on a diesel.
