Back in the mid 90s while on a deployment, one of my Marines (Crash Fire Rescue)was asked to cut some 55 gallon drums in half with our K12 rescue saw. We do it all the time. Just as they were getting ready to cut the drums (they were told the drums were rinsed out) one of the Sergeants made the Marines put on full turn out gear. As they were cutting the first drum, it exploded in a huge fireball. The Marines doing the cutting were blown though the air, the force of the explosion destroyed the K12 saw. All this was captured on film. The photo shows the 2 Marines being into the air, just a wild photo.
That was just an "empty" 55 gallon drum, so be careful man!!
