np540 noise

Hello,

I have a np540 direct 5 Transmission. It works good but has a bad sound in reverse. It makes no unsual noise when backing up a hill or against a load. But if you back down a hill or let off the gas where the engine trys to hold back it sounds like a bearing out?? All other gears sound fine. When drifting in reverse with the clutch pedel in it makes the noise.

Any idea's what it might be??

Is there anything I can check before pulling it out??
