Roger Ingoldsby of Tunbridge, VT is the proud owner of this original 1943 early production WC-57 Radio/Command Car with winch. It first saw action in WWII in Europe (as brazed-in bullet holes in the back trunk lid testify). In 1954 it underwent a re-build by Mercedes/Daimler Benz at Gaggenau, Germany and later was used by NATO with the French Army. It returned to the US as surplus in the mid-1970’s. Roger bought it in 1988 and says this is one of the most reliable and best-running Dodges he has ever owned
