No doubt a dana 60 straight axle is stronger but anything can break. And I thought my buddy Tom cracking his 3/8 wall custom Dana 60 housing right at the Dedenbaer knuckle this weekend. His custom CTM "drive home shafts and CTM ujoints held up. It just goes to prove that anything can be broken.....How many Baja trophy truck run straight axles?......fact is they do ride better, have their purpose, and can be built to withstand massive abuse. As someone else wrote...95% won't ever see a dirt rode much less a trail....if that is what Jeep guys call a trail. Typical jeep guy/gal...my Liberty is sooo hardcore. That's so funny.
