Amen,Norm.My sister lives in France and drives a Chrysler minivan diesel that gets around 48 mpg...twice what a domestic model would get.Oh, and another thing; I have a neighbor that traps problem squirrels.He catches them in a live trap, bags them, and attaches them to the tailpipe of his car for a quick demise.Well, one day his wife took the car so he tried the process with his Chevy 6.5 diesel.The squirrel was still alive enough after 25 minutes to give him a good bite and escape...maybe he had bought enough CO2 credits???
