Nice tool! It looks very similar to the one I assembled. I used a block of wood to make sure I didn't scar the surface and just hung the head of the bolt behind the seal. The end on yours I'm sure works better. It took me a couple tries to get the head to catch behind the seal.

I assume the one you bought came with different sized puller ends for different sized seals?
