There's a hydraulic ram underneath the middle of one side that links the front and rear steering platforms to the frame. (axles are mounted rigidly to the platforms)
As the ram expands it pushes one corner of both platforms away from it, and as it contracts it pulls the same corners towards each other. It's true 'wagon steer' at both ends.
The differentials aren't limited slip either, just like regular 1/3 ton WC military I think. You can spin a track, but you'd also need to spin one track on the other axle and in reality you just never lose that much traction.
It's one machine that actually looks better when you are lying flat on your back underneath it wondering how he came up with that drive system.
