The price of the cards is so low now that I just bought two 2 Gig SD cards for $50 each.
I remember when 128MB was a big deal, and a 1GB card was in the hundreds of dollars. Those days are over!
I don't even think in MB any more, I use 1GB or 2GB cards in my cameras, and my new USB drive is 4GB (the old one was 512MB and cost the same as the new 4GB one, $50).
The best investment I ever made was in more memory, and lots of spare batteries.
