Very few buyers are engineers- so Fluff sells better. There are more women out there looking for gimmicks that there are engineer types who want to know real specs.
But I would tink that 10% of an advertising budget ought to be targeted at 10% of the viewers? Like they do with minorities?
Nobody but SAAB seems to market to engineers.
