The '67 W-300 probably has the same setup as my '64 did, which means that the starter is a direct drive (also called Folo-Thru) as used on the larger trucks. The small block version is a three bolt mount and the big block is a two bolt mount (go figure) I think that you should have the poly 318 which has a wavy outer edge to the valve covers and equal spacing on the spark plugs. The engine does not define the starter in this application, the bell housing does, and the W-300's were straight rail chassis' like the 400+ series trucks, and shared bell housings and many other components with them, so you can look for the starter for a D-500 with 318-3 engine. I'll try to dig up the NAPA number on the correct starter. Rob
